This pristine province is home to a treasure trove of natural beauty and outdoor adventure. Go jungle trekking, jump on a mountain bike, swim in fresh water rivers, and climb gorgeous waterfalls. In addition to adventure, Koh Kong is full of friendly communities of Cambodians who are more than happy to have you and show you what rural life is like.
Although off the beaten path, Koh Kong isn’t “out of the way”. Situated in the south west corner of Cambodia, bordering Thailand, Koh Kong is actually quite a conveniently located. Koh Kong Island is actually an official military ground therefore development is forbidden. What does this mean for you? This means that the ecosystem is preserved, the beaches are far from crowded, and the scenery is in its natural form.

Spend the day out on a boat fishing in the middle of the river surrounded by bright green jungle and nothing else. You’ll have a BBQ lunch on board while you work on your fishing skills.
If you’re new to this while fishing thing, that’s okay. Your boat captain will show you how to bait your line, how to cast, and help you reel in your catch. The captain also knows the best spots to drop your line.
